What a pleasure to welcome you to our website! We’ve come through a lot of changes since the beginning of this adventure. Even though Natpro as you know it turned 30 in 2013, its establishment goes back to 1954. That was the year the Charrette family started the confection of asbestos gloves and mitts in the family garage in Montréal.

The merger of “Ganterie Chaillez”, established in Saint-Stanislas in 1949, and “Safety gloves and clothing” company founded by Robert Charrette leads to the construction of the new industrial protection gloves and clothing plant in St-Stanislas in 1969. Operating under the name Nasco, the local plant employs 100 workers and the production runs at full capacity until the death of its owner, Robert Charrette, in 1980. Nasco will end its operations in 1982.

With the support of the people of St-Stanislas, the municipality and co-owners at the time, Roderick Tanner, Normand Mongrain and Ron Freeman, the plant resumes its activities on October 24, 1983 under the name Natpro. We have been working ever since on a full range of gloves and protective clothing which suit your everyday needs. Our committed team brings you homegrown expertise in design and manufacturing.
